New Retraining Programs in Engineering & Technology Launched at ASU

In accordance with the sector target program “Professional Retraining of Qualified Engineers in 2015-2016”, Astrakhan State University has launched new retraining programs.

The retraining will be delivered in the following specializations: “Rational Application of Natural Resources for Engineering, Geodesic, Geological, Hydrometerological, and Ecological Prospecting”; “Quality Enhancement of Products & Energy Saving by Applying High Technologies in Power Engineering, in Welding, and in Material Science at Machine Building Enterprises”, “Organization of Events & Application of Modern Technologies in Energy Efficiency & Resource Saving at Enterprises”; “End-to-End Technologies in Projecting & Controlling Production at Machine Building Enterprises”.

The programs comply with such top-priority fields of science and technology in Russia as ICT systems, rational management of nature, energy efficiency, and energy-saving. They have been developed and introduced owing to an acute need of the Russian economy (especially its innovative sectors) for qualified specialists. The programs developed by our faculty staff meet requirements of their corporate customers; they have passed a competition selection successfully: their corporate customers have provided subsidies on co-financing terms to deliver them. Besides the proper studies, practical training both in Russia and abroad shall be available for trainees.        

The corporate customers of the retraining programs operate in such fields as land prospecting for construction works, manufacturing of metal constructions, magnetic materials, engineering tests, certification of engineering products and services, etc.
