ASU at 1st Russian Beach Games

People of Astrakhan State University have taken part in the 1st Russian Beach Games.
The event has been organized by the Russian Beach Sports Association; it has been backed by the Ministry of Sports of Krasnodar Krai, by the Sochi City Administration, and by the Russian Olympic Committee.
Ms. Irina Yankevich, a faculty staff member of the Chairs of Games in Sports & Adaptive Physical Training of ASU, has been a referee at the competitions, since she has the 3rd referee degree in cheerleading. Over 10 regions of the Russian Federation, including Astrakhan Region, have taken part in the cheerleading competitions.
In December 2015, the team of our University is planning to take part in the Cheerleading Russian Cup, as well as in Russian Student Competitions.
