Splendid Summer Training at Warm Sea

It is the first time that students of Astrakhan State University have covered a practical training program in the well-known summer camps “Artek” and “Pearl Coast” located in Crimea at the coast of the Black Sea.

Our students had to work with kids who spent their holidays in those camps practically 24 hours a day. Such a working regime has contributed to development of their professional, teamwork, and decision-making skills. It has also made them get prepared to bear responsibility for their activities.

The young people have covered their training program from middle July to September as camp counselors, game organizers, sports coaches, and as teachers. “Since my childhood, I’ve always dreamt to visit the Artek Camp, and at last my dream came true”, Darya Tkacheva, one of our students, shares her impressions. “Each and every day gave us something new: we took part in the contests “2015 New Wave of Kids” and “Live Classics”; we visited the city of Sebastopol that’s so famous in our country. Really valuable pedagogical experience, new interesting people, bright emotions and impressions – this is what the Artek Camp gave me!”

Thanks to the summer pedagogical training in Crimea, our students not only enhanced their skills, but also got a southern suntan; they swam in the Black Sea and enjoyed the beautiful nature in Crimea.
