Legal Mediation Retraining Course at ASU

A retraining course “Mediation: Basic Course” for lawyers has been delivered at the Institute of Continuing Education of Astrakhan State University.

The course has been delivered by three members of our faculty staff: Dr. Dina Kripakova (Head of the Chair of Procedural Law), Dr. Vera Armyaninova (Associate Professor of the same Chair), and Dr. Svetlana Taysaeva (Associate Professor of the Chair of General & Developmental Psychology). The courses have concerned practical application of the mediation procedure, the main requirements towards a professional mediator, the stages of mediation, and advantages of applying a mediation procedure during court proceedings related to family, labor, and other kinds of litigation.

Dr. Nailya Remizova, Acting Director of the Institute of Continuing Education, emphasizes the relevance of this course and top-level professional skills of our instructors who deliver it. Upon their completion of the course, all the trainees have got an official certificate of professional retraining.
