Our Students Participate in National Contest in Physics

A team of students of Astrakhan State University’s Department of Physics & Technology has made its successful debut at the recent national contest for students specializing in Physics that has been held at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI in Moscow.

Our University has been represented by three students – Maria Bulycheva, Dmitry Korolkov, and Alexey Nekhoroshev. Dr. Olga Alykova and Dr. Svetlana Tishkova have been their research supervisors.

All in all, 165 students from 21 cities of Russia have taken part in the contest; they have represented 31 universities, including Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Higher School of Economics, Ural Federal University, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, etc. The current contest has achieved the international level, as students from five other countries have also participated in it – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and Iran.

The team of Astrakhan State University has confidently taken a middle position in the tournament table. Let us congratulate them!
