Researchers of ASU Visit Conference at Institute of Philosophy RAS
In late April, the National Scientific Conference “Philosophy of War & Peace” has been held in Moscow in honor of the upcoming 70th anniversary of Russia’s Victory over the Third Reich. Astrakhan State University has been represented by Dr. Leonid Podvoyskiy and by Prof. Pavel Karabushchenko.
In late April, the National Scientific Conference “Philosophy of War & Peace” has been held in Moscow in honor of the upcoming 70th anniversary of Russia’s Victory over the Third Reich. Astrakhan State University has been represented by Dr. Leonid Podvoyskiy and by Prof. Pavel Karabushchenko.
After the Plenary Session and a celebration in honor of the WW2 veterans, three round-talks have taken place the first day of the Conference – Truth & Lie about Great Patriotic War, Nature against War, and Modern Terrorism as War of 21st Century. As for Dr. Podvoyskiy, he has given his report “Issue of Counteracting Modern Terrorism”.
The second day of the Conference has included the second Plenary Session with 16 reports. Their thematic range includes “World War Two as Apogee of Political Globalization”, “Patriotism & Spiritual Unity of Soviet Union’s Peoples as Most Important Factor of Achieving Victory in Great Patriotic War”, “Soviet Home Front during Great Patriotic War”, “Philosophy of Russian Feat”, “Issue of Historical Truth about Great Patriotic War”, “Technological Shifts & Menaces of Military Initiatives”, etc.
A collection of the participants’ research papers is to be published in autumn 2015.
