Assessment of Quality of Education: New Professional Retraining Courses Launched
The Institute of Continuing Education of Astrakhan State University has launched its professional retraining courses “Management of Quality of Education; Assessment & Self-Estimation of Educational Activities”.
It is staff of the LUKOIL Company (Astrakhan Region’s largest oil-recovering and processing company) that is now covering this retraining program. The trainees’ interest is due to the fact that their professional activities involve teaching their colleagues safety regulations and procedures at offshore oil-and-gas rigs.
During their training at ASU, the trainees are to cover issues related to enhancement of quality of education that are due to recent changes in the Russian educational legislation, to modern approaches to assessing and monitoring the quality of education, to innovations in monitoring assessment of quality of education, to the quality management system in the field of education, etc.
Upon the completion of their training, the trainees shall obtain certificates confirming their successful coverage of this retraining program.
