Happy Birthday, Fusion Dance!
The junior and the middle groups of the Fusion Dance Company performing at our Department of Pedagogics, Social Work and Physical Training have celebrated their 1st anniversary.
The young dancers have demonstrated their talents at the celebration party: the dancing number “Beginning” by the middle group has caused a storm of the audience’s applause, while the number “Before Sleeping” by the junior group has deeply touched the watchers’ hearts.
Members of the senior group, who have been performing dances for over two years, have come to congratulate their younger peers. Several intriguing and inimitable dances performed by them have become their birthday gift. There was also a vocal quartet by our students, whose name was “Wild Dances”, and the dance “Sports Store” by our New Generation cheerleading team.
The Fusion Dance Company is headed by Luanna Vassilyeva. When she was still a student, she proved her proficiency in choreography and in event management. Now she studies our master program “Organization of Youth-Related Work”.
All the participants have prepared flowers and warm-hearted congratulating words for their chief. Ms. Natalya Kindyakova, Art Director of the Lotos Dancing Ensemble, has given a warm-hearted speech for her ex-trainee. She said, “Now Luanna is the only mentor in Astrakhan Region who can think choreographically”. Prof. Galina Palatkina, Dean of ASU’s Department of Pedagogics, Social Work and Physical Training, has also warmly congratulated the young dancers and their mentor; she has pointed out that it is just the beginning and that their main success is awaiting them. As for choreographers Anastasia Vassilyeva and Kristina Chernova, who have played an active role in the launch and development of the Fusion Dance Company, they have also been congratulated wholeheartedly.
At the end of the bright and cheerful holiday, all the dancers of the Fusion Dance Company have performed a dancing number all together.
