Students of the Department of Pedagogics, Social Work, & Physical Training of Astrakhan State University have taken part in the AStreet Festival of Contemporary Art.
It was the Ministry of Culture of Astrakhan Region that has arranged the event. The name of the Festival derives from two words: “Astrakhan” and “street”. This event has become a site to demonstrate various fields of the youth contemporary art: rap, graffiti, beatboxing, hip-hop, etc.
The team of our Department of Pedagogics, Social Work, & Physical Training, which has included 50 students, has given a number dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Russia’s Victory over Nazi Germany in World War 2. One should remark that our students regularly participate in such events. The theme of patriotism and the feeling of gratitude to veterans of that war are very dear to the future workers of the social sphere.
