Designers of ASU Ready to Assist
On September 26, 2015, students studying design at Astrakhan State University have taken part in the International Ethnic Tourism Project “Ethnic Fair. Southern Bazaar”.
This event has taken place in the village of Tri Protoka (literal Russian for “Three Streams”) just a few miles from the city of Astrakhan; it has been supervised by Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region, and by the Regional Ministry of Culture & Tourism. Its goal is to form Astrakhan Region’s areal brand by preserving ethnic cultures. The Organizing Committee has requested our University to assist in arrangement of the upcoming event.
Students of our Department of Architecture and Design supervised by Mr. Alexander Petrov, Head of our Chair of Graphical Design, have applied their professional skills to design and decorate ethnic sites at the Fair. Their participation in this event has surely contributed to enhancement of their professional knowledge in the field of graphical design.
Special thanks to our faculty staff for their cooperation in arrangement of this event.
