Israeli Delegation Visits ASU
Today a delegation of the TESSA I.E.C. Group Ltd. (Israel) has paid a business visit to Astrakhan State University.
A meeting between the delegation of the TESSA I.E.C. Group Ltd. headed by its President Isaac Nisenblat and management of Astrakhan State University has recently taken place at ASU. The TESSA I.E.C. Group Ltd. is an Israeli leader in technological development and introduction and machinery for the dairy industry. The main profile of its activities is manufacturing tailor-made multifunctional Mini Dairy lines of diverse production capacities for all the most popular types of ready-made dairy products. The meeting with the distinguished Israeli guests has been of special interest not just for our University Administration, but also for our research staff, for reps of the Ministry of Agriculture & Fish Industry of Astrakhan
Region, for staff of the Caspian Research Institute of Arid Farming, and for Heads of Districts of Astrakhan Region – all those people have come to the meeting, too. Prof. Ravil Arykbaev, Acting Dean of our Agrarian Department, has told the guests about research activities that this Department performs. Supplies of laboratory equipment, technologies of mixed fodder production, and long-term storage of fruit and vegetable products have been under special consideration, as well as the TESSA’s innovative project to produce pectin from apples. Our foreign partners have visited our University Technopark; they have highly assessed the research potential of ASU. Cooperation between the TESSA I.E.C. Group Ltd. and Astrakhan State University is to be continued and developed.
