Diploma Papers Defended at Department of Business & Economy of ASU

An open defense of diploma papers by students specializing in Public Administration has taken place at the Department of Business & Economy of Astrakhan State University.

The procedure of defense of diploma papers has taken place at the Ministry of Education & Science of Astrakhan Region. The Certification Commission has been chaired by Mr. Igor Evshevsky, Deputy Head of the Administration of Governor of Astrakhan Region. 15 graduates of our bachelor program in Public Administration have presented the findings of their researches to the Commission. Their researches have been undertaken to meet an order of the regional authorities.

The themes of our graduates’ papers have spanned a wide range of economic issues – from introducing the efficient contract mechanism and the development of the regional cluster of distance education to assessment of Astrakhan Region’s investment climate and investment potential. The researches are based on the current legislation acts and on a large stock of analyzed statistic data. Most works contain the findings of their authors’ sociological researches that have involved up to 600 respondents. They also include experts’ assessments and alternative view-points.

All the 15 graduates have got an excellent mark for their bachelor papers; two of them shall obtain a cum laude diploma.
