International-Level Exchange of Pedagogical Experience

The Training Seminar “Professional Competencies of Teachers of Russian Language & Russian Literature: Traditions & Innovations” has been held at the Department of Philology & Journalism of Astrakhan State University.
As the event participants confess, the agenda of the Seminar has been very saturated. Teachers of the Russian language from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have listened to lectures delivered by our University’s top professors and met their Astrakhan counterparts, who have shared their experience of applying innovative techniques to teach Russian at school. Besides, a cultural program has also been arranged for the Seminar participants, which has included an excursion up and down the University, their participation in the Festival of Turkish culture, an excursion to the Astrakhan Kremlin, and a concert by our students.
As for the last day of the Seminar, the participants have shared their impressions. Their mood was generally positive after the five days of intense training. All of them have emphasized the importance of such events for them. Our foreign colleagues have warmly thanked the Seminar organizers and their Astrakhan peers for such productive work and for such a warm-hearted receipt.
At the end of the Seminar, each participant has been given a certificate of participation.
