Our Future Specialists in ICT Present Their Projects at National Competition
Students of the Department of Mathematics & Information Technologies have taken part in the IT School in the town of Maykop (South-Western Russia) that is a part of the national educational program “IT Start” that aims to back young programmers.
Three teams of our students have represented Astrakhan State University. In particular, Kirill Zorin, Elena Oblova, Valeria Sidorenko, Anastasia Khlyamina, and Vladimir Patrashko have presented their project of the house monitoring information system “House S.O.” that includes sensors and a mobile application. Artyom Zvezdin, Rail Nurullaev, and Ilmir Yazmukhamedov have developed the concept of the application “Mobile Education”, which makes it possible for a teacher to publish home assignments, recommended literature, testing assignments, and announcements about upcoming tests on the web site of electronic timetable of classes. As for Oxana Arestanova, Ilyas Zhankashev, and Islyam Saliev, they have developed the service “Book Challenge” that enables a user not just to read books, but also to check their knowledge and have a chat with other book lovers.
Besides presentation of their innovative projects, our students have taken part in the three-day cycle of lectures and master classes. They have proved that they can create and develop leading products in the field of ICT.
