Seminar to Discuss Complex Examination in Russian for Foreign Citizens
The seminar “Organizational & Methodical Fundamentals of Taking Examination in Russian Language, in History of Russia, and in Foundations of Russian Federation’s Legislation” has been held at Astrakhan State University.
This event has been arranged for teachers of Russian as a foreign language who work in Southern Russia by the International Testing Center of the People’s Friendship University of Russia; people from all over the country (Astrakhan, Volgograd, Vologda, Yekaterinburg, Makhachkala, Rostov-on-Don, Tambov, Tomsk, Moscow, etc.) have arrived to participate in the Seminar.
The Seminar has concerned issues of specifying test assignments in the sections “Foundations of Russian Federation’s Legislation” and “History of Russia”, as well as requirements towards the level of knowledge of foreign citizens and their examiners. Professor Konovalov from the People’s Friendship University of Russia has told a lot about the thematic plan of the examination and about pedagogical technologies of testing people with a limited knowledge of the Russian vocabulary. As for Professor Dolzhnikova (Vice Rector of the same University), her webinar has concerned organizational and methodical fundamentals of the examination. The whole Seminar has been summed up at the round table “Operation of State System to Test Foreign Citizens”.
