Our Students Get Regional Governor’s Scholarship

Today Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region, has granted certificates of Regional Governor’s Scholarship to the best students of Astrakhan State University at the Grand Hall of his official residence.

Twenty students of ASU have been granted this prestigious award for their outstanding achievements in their studies, in sports, in creative activities, in their researches, and in their public activities. All of them shall be receiving an increased grant throughout the whole current term.

Regional Governor’s scholarships have been granted in Astrakhan Region since 1997. To be nominated for such a scholarship, one has to be nominated by a student council or by a youth public organization, which select nominees as a result of a recently taken examination session.
