Our Scientists’ Success Highly Evaluated by Governor

The official ceremony to award Astrakhan Region’s most outstanding scientists has been held at the Astrakhan State Philharmonic.

Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region, has congratulated the regional scientific community on the Day of Russian Science, as part of which this awards ceremony has been held. The range of scientists awarded with a Governor Diploma of Honor includes researchers from Astrakhan State University: Professor Elena Timofeeva (D.Sc. in History, Dean of the Historical Department), Dr. Alexander Glazkov (D.Sc. in Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Chair of Philosophy), and Dr. Alexander Ryabtsev (D.Sc. in History, Associate Professor of the Chair of Advertising & Public Relations).
