Entire Pedestal Occupied by Designers of ASU

At the very end of 2014, the regional artistic exhibition “Astrakhan – Artistic Youth – 2014” was opened at the Armory Exhibition Center in the Astrakhan Kremlin. Students of Astrakhan State University have taken all the three top places.

It is students of the Department of Architecture & Design of Astrakhan State University who have taken part in this event. Mr. Alexander Petrov, Head of our Chair of Painting & Drawing, has been their mentor.

As the exhibition was also a contest for the best work of art, our young talents have been competing in the nomination “Best Work of Art by Astrakhan Region’s Students”. The first place has been won by Tatyana Tislenko, a 4th-year-student of ASU specializing in Graphical Design. The 2nd place has been won by Kamilla Mukanova, a 2nd-year-student of ASU. As for the 3rd place, the award has been gained by Deniza Yafasova, our 3rd-year-student.

Let us congratulate the three winners and wish them all the best in their further activities!
