Power Engineers’ Professional Holiday as Useful Event for Our Students

The professional holiday of power engineers is held in Russia on December 22. This year, students covering programs in the field of power engineering at Astrakhan State University have taken part in a holiday event.

Reps of the University administration, regional authorities, and local power engineering companies have met our students at the holiday event. The distinguished guests have told the young people about Astrakhan Region’s achievements in the field of power engineering; they have emphasized its real need for highly-qualified specialists in power engineering and invited our alumni to become members of their staff. As there is such a need for good specialists, the guests have pointed out that our students should work hard to master their future profession.

The students have been told about their further educational process; they have been given a number of examples of our alumni’s successful careers. It has been pointed out that our secondary educational and higher educational programs are closely integrated together, thanks to which their delivery has been quite successful. Moreover, more and more alumni of Astrakhan State University’s Department of Secondary Professional Education are signing up for our programs of higher education to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.

In their turn, the students have given a concert and demonstrated a number of visualizations of their educational process to their guests.
