Our Students Tell How to Overcome Crisis

On February 06, a meeting of the workgroup “Support of Small & Middle-Size Business, Backing of Favorable Investment Climate & Development of Innovations” headed by Ms. Elina Polyanskaya, the Regional Minister of Economic Development, has been held in presence of Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region.
Students of the Department of Business & Economy of Astrakhan State University have also taken part in this meeting. They have participated in it actively, together with staff of the Regional Ministry and with top economists of Astrakhan Region. Among our students, suggestions by Nadezhda Kirillova (our undergraduate student) in the field of tourism cluster administration have especially been evaluated. As for two other students (Ekaterina Messel and Natalya Kunyashova), their “Suggestions Concerning Crisis Management Actions to Optimize Legal Regulation of Small & Middle-Size Business” have presented to the Governor and included into the general plan of Astrakhan Region’s sustainable development.
